12 Month Check Up

We had Katie's 12 month check up this week. Of course the shots weren't fun but she did pretty good. She is sooo tough!

weight: 18.89 lbs~16.28%tile
height: 29.5 in~ 65.33%tile
head circumference: 17.8 in~ 55.33%tile

It's so interesting to see the difference in her and Drew at the Doctor. Drew was/is CRAZY while waiting to get back to see the Doctor, wanting to be out in the hall, playing on the elevators or trying to hit the fish in the fish tank. But as soon as we get back into the room he is very calm, he will sit through the exam, let the doctor check him out... you know, eyes, ears, mouth, tummy, diaper area, all that stuff.
NOT KATIE! Exactly the opposite, she will sit on my lap just looking around watching people in the waiting room. As soon as we went back to the room she was all over the place, ripping the paper on the table to shreds, trying to turn off the computer, opening all the drawers she could reach. Then when the doctor came in and was trying to look her over she was sooo mad. She was batting at his hand if he touched her anywhere. It was so funny!
I love to see their different personalities! It's kind of weird that they are that way at the doctor. When were at home Katie is usually chill and Drew is a little more uptight.
They're crazy and I love every second of it!!!

I hope their is room on the team! I really missed playing last fall, that I decided even if it's a drive I want to play! Hopefully their will be room. If not, I'll come cheer with you and stacy and who ever else isn't playing.

Since this post is in the same post as my first one, this means you need to update more. lol I am so sorry I can't play. I am still sick and who knows when I will get better. Is this what happens to you when your turning 30?

IF I get better I will for sure come to some games to cheer!!!! I need to bring my daughter and get her interested. This is the first year she is going to play. I had her in T-ball and just about died. I decided we would wait till it was couch pitch.

William can't run around yet, but he's (thankfully) more like Katie whenever we go to the doctor. Sorry we didn't see you guys at Gary's birthday dinner.
